Lexie Diaz
I am a first generation pre-med student who graduated with a Bachelors degree in Neuroscience from the University of Nevada, Reno in May 2022. Being the first pre-med student in my family made it difficult to navigate the application process for medical school during my undergraduate career. However, being involved in local organizations, gaining clinical experience, and speaking with local physicians and medical students has helped me gain insight on what it truly means to be a future medical professional.
